New Date & Venue For Tribute To Bishop Benjamin Dube’s – My Legacy Celebration

The honouring of the legendary Bishop Benjamin Dube has been rescheduled to April 25th 2019 at Gold Reef City in Johannesburg South. The event was initially scheduled for March 30th at Mosaiek Teatro in Ferlands, North West of Johannesburg.

The Gathering is organised under the auspices of My Legacy, an evolution of “South Legacies”, it was rescheduled due to logistical challenges, which the organisers deeply regret, especially for the short notice to the ticket holders.

While he will be the focal point for night of April 25th, Gold Reef City is expected to be filled with melodious sounds from some of South Africa’s top artists who availed themselves to perform at the auspicious event. Bishop Dube’s name is synonymous with gospel music on the Southern tip of Africa as well as the entire African Continent, his career spans 40 plus years and has produced a mountain of 20 albums in the process.

Bishop Dube is the second generation of the musical Dube Family, hailing from the Eastern part of the Golden Metropolise, that is Gauteng. As indicated, he is in the process of passing the baton to the third generation.

The event is scheduled for the 25th April 2019 at the Lyric Theatre Gold Reef City to start at 19:00 gate open at 17:00. The performing artists for the night are Judith Sephuma, Takie Psalmist Ndou, Phuthuma Tiso, Dube Brothers, Tebello Sukwene, Khaya Mthethwa and Mahalia Buchanan.
